Dear iPhone

Dear iPhone,

I’m sorry I treated you badly. I can change. I promise.

I love you.

I need you.

I miss you.

My heart is broken.

We’re so good together.

My life is incomplete without you.

I’m committed to you. No other device will do.

I’ll be better. For you. Because I love you. Because you deserve better.

I promise not to take you for granted. Ever again.

I never intended to leave you outside, all alone. I was distracted. There’s no excuse, I know.

I didn’t know it was going rain so hard. The sky opened up, and before I realized where you were, you were soaked. Drowned. Sogged out. I tried CPR. I bought the best rice I could find and made you a dry, cozy bed. Too little too late, perhaps, but my heart is in the right place. Please come back.

I’m sorry.

Please come back to me.

Give me another chance.

love always, N.

    Dear Nancy’s iPhone:

Please accept her apology. They don’t come easily to her. Don’t break her heart and leave her isolated and bereft. Hasn’t the poor girl suffered enough?

Maybe you should get that phone Macy has and prove you can be trusted with the responsibility before we shell out big $ for another iPhone.

  3. My sons’ electronic devices have been through the laundry (through the ringer, should I say?). In both cases the PDAs accepted their apologies, sunbathed, and came back to life, albeit tanned and maybe a bit wrinkled inside. I hope your i-phone gets resurrected, too. XXOO

  4. I love my iPhone too. It’s my lifeline…. I DO hope it dries out and that revives it…. And, there’s always a backup plan…. Lesson learned…going to sync mine RIGHT NOW…

I am so glad I’m not alone in the world of not protecting my iphone. At least you know what happens to your iphones, I just keep losing mine. As you place the phone in the warm sun, say a special prayer to the sun goddess that her rays will bring your beloved iphone back into service. If not, go to the store and buy another one!!! I think you are one up on me. Love

I so love this post. I feel the same way about my Blackberry. What would I ever do without it?? I hope you’re forgiven soon!! 🙂

I’ve never been a person too attached to his technology, but my iPhone owns me.
